Foreign Language

The Foreign Language Department at the HART High School provides students with the opportunity to immerse themselves in Hispanic and French culture. Students learn the fundamental elements of the language and grammar in the Level 1 classes and eventually increase their proficiency to the point of being able to fully read, write, and speak in this new language. These courses culminate in Regents exams which helps students achieve the coveted Advanced Regents Diploma. Students take trips to museums and restaurants that reflect the culture they are learning about, ​thereby ensuring a full immersion experience.
